Senatorial District 22 Convention

When: April 21, 2012

Time: 8:00 AM

Where: Advance Financial Planning; 1720 Oak Village Blvd, Arlington, 76017

(So. Cooper St., west side of Oak Village Blvd.)

Purpose: Selection of delegates and alternates to the State Republican Convention (Fort Worth Convention Center, June 7-9, 2012) and adoption of resolutions to be submitted to the State Resolutions Committee for adoption in the Republican Party of Texas Platform.

Schedule: 8:00 AM Registration

Temporary Nominations and Resolutions Committees will be open to delegates to the SD22 convention from 8:15 AM until such time as the Temporary Committees are voted by the Assembly to be Permanent Committees.

9:00 AM Call to Order

Noon Lunch break; Temporary Nominations and Resolutions Committees will stay in session.

3:00-5:00 PM Adjourn

Information for candidate appearances, and candidate materials at the SD22 convention:

We welcome any candidate who wants to speak to our delegation. We are, though, a very small group of (so far) only 37 delegates, which means our business could go very fast. It is not beyond reason to think we could be ready to adjourn by noon – 1:00 PM, so please plan on visiting us between 10:00 AM & 11:00 AM if possible.

We plan to have a table or a counter for candidate materials. Please put your materials there, rather than distribute them in the delegation meeting room.
