Cathie Adams Elected Chairman of Texas GOP
Cathie Adams was elected Chairman of the Republican Party of Texas by members of the State Republican Executive Committee on Saturday. Adams, a conservative leader was elected as Texas’ National Committeewoman on the RNC by delegates to the 2008 Republican state convention.
To better fufil her role as state GOP Chairman, Adams will be stepping down from her positions as President of Texas Eagle Forum and as RNC National Committewoman. The state Republican Executive Committee will fill her RNC Committeewoman position at a future meeting.
