Lehrmann to be Sworn in June 21st
On Monday June 21st, Tarrant County resident Debra Lehrmann will be sworn in as Texas’ newest State Supreme Court Justice.
Lehrmann won the April Republican run off Election for the post in April. Texas Governor Rick Perry appointed her to the unexpired portion of the term of retiring Justice Harriet O’Neill.
She most recently served as District Judge of the 360th Judicial District in Fort Worth, Texas, and has served as a judge in Tarrant County for more than 22 years as a Judge.
Judge Lehrmann is the first Justice from Tarrant County to serve on the Texas Supreme Court in over 50 years.

The Supreme Court successfuly upheld the 2nd admendment. The only thing concerning about this case was that it ended up with a 5-4 majority.
