We have learned that committee markup in the House on the Healtcare bill will resume at 10 am. Thursday. Rumor has it that that several of the Blue Dogs have cut a deal with the Democrat leadership and need calls, they are:

I was in excellent health and shape until diagnosed at age 50 with an autoimmune disorder that affects my muscles. I get ivIG infusions every 8 weeks that cost my insurance company $6000 per treatment (after we paid $3K deductible). Without these infusions I would not have the quality of life I enjoy now. I am able to continue to work from home as I have for the past 9 years.
Many people with CHRONIC disease (Multiple Sclerosis, etc.) would not have the QUALITY of LIFE that they have without these infusions. Government run health care will tell us to take a PREDNISONE and DEAL WITH IT!
It is UNCONSTITUTIONAL to deny Americans the right to choose the healthcare they want to pay for and to deny access to healthcare that is best for them.
Some day it might be YOU or YOUR son or daughter!
NO TO DENYING AMERICANS THE RIGHT TO CHOOSE HEALTHCARE!

Interesting to see that you will not allow an opposition to stand on the blog. You’ve cut it out, forcing me to repost the following statement I made earlier.
“This is ridiculous. You people are scaring the population because you’re angry and brainwashed into thinking that any darned corporation in America gives half of a heck about your healthcare. Most of you WANT Medicare. What do you think Medicare is?? It is not a corporation. I have friends who work in healthcare who are apalled at the control these companies have in rationing care today. If you have private healthcare and you don’t think you are rationed today, just wait until you get cancer, kidney problems that require dialysis, or a catastrophic illness. Even if you just have surgery, the health care corporation controls when you go home. I once was sent home by my health insurance 24 hours after major surgery. The nurses collected in my room, and one of them cried, saying I should not leave yet. You can buy health insurance all day long, but that does not give you any control.”
